We also offer five training days per season for both junior and adult members of all abilities. The juniors also getting a very popular race training day.
And what a setting! The safe non-tidal waters of Hickling Broad, fringed with reed beds, is part of an ecologically unique and scenic national nature reserve, abundant with rare wildlife, including bitterns, swallowtail butterflies and protected plants. The reserve forms part of the wider Broads National Park, much of which is accessible to the cruising enthusiast.
There is nearly always a good wind on Hickling Broad, and when the sea breeze kicks in on a balmy summer afternoon, Hickling sailors will still be enjoying themselves when more inland clubs have abandoned activities.
