Villages Sailing Club

We are an organization dedicated to the enjoyment of sailing. The club was formed in the fall of 2005 by Rich and Sally Mosher. From the original 10 charter members we have grown by leaps and bounds. Whether you are an experienced sailor or just a beginner, our club has something to offer you. Our members come from diverse backgrounds with varying levels of sailing experience and interests. We all, however, have one thing in common - we love being out on the water under a clear blue sky with a gentle breeze filling the sails.

We have an active social committee, so there is never a lack of fun and excitement. Events include meeting with sailing clubs outside The Villages, sailing in other area lakes, potlucks, cocktail parties, raft-ups, etc. There is always an emphasis on safety and a quest for new knowledge. We often have speakers who cover a wide range of topics including information on the local lakes, sailing clubs outside The Villages, safety issues, tips for buying or selling a boat, interesting destinations and much more.
