Yacht Clubs of Weymouth
The Yacht Clubs of Weymouth is the umbrella organisation for the yacht and sailing clubs in Weymouth, Dorset.
The following clubs are members:
- Castle Cove Sailing Club
- Royal Dorset Yacht Club
- Royal Naval Sailing Association, Portland Branch
- Weymouth and Portland Cruising Association
- Weymouth Sailing Club
In addition, the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy takes part in planning the sailing activities in Weymouth Bay and Portland Harbour.
The Yacht Clubs of Weymouth is a forum for the clubs to talk about matters of mutual interest. It also organises Weymouth Regatta and various local series championships and open meetings that no one club wishes to take on by itself. In 2010 it is organising the National 12 Class Burton Week.
